Montgomery County resident Tyler Frolke, age 22, of Amsterdam, was arrested Thursday, Sept. 15, following an investigation by New York State Police.

Troopers first began looking into Frolke’s alleged behavior in late August 2022 when they received a complaint that he had inappropriate physical contact with a 13-year-old victim, police said.

The abuse reportedly occurred in both Montgomery County, in the town of Glen, and Fulton County, in the city of Gloversville.

Investigators determined that Frolke had forcibly touched children on multiple occasions, according to police.

He was taken into custody after surrendering at the State Police facility in Fonda.

Frolke was arraigned at the Glen Town Court on multiple charges, including two counts each of forcible touching and sexual abuse, and three counts of endangering the welfare of a child, all misdemeanors.

A judge ordered him held at the Montgomery County jail on $5,000 bail.
